so when i start my z6 in my 91 hatch it wont idle for crap and throws a cel. but when i unplug the map sensor it idles fine but if i put the throttle down more than 1/3 it boggs down and wants to die. also if i start the motor and plug the map sensor back in, it will idle then when i start to drive it just bogs down if i give it any gas. any suggestions?

 

what code is it throwing? my guess is you need a new map sensor but i don't know since you didn't say which code it is? what does it do when you gas it? drop to like no rpm and stutter? if so it could be the crank angle sensor in your dizzy or the wiring. more info though!?!

 

i dont know how to check the codes in an obd0 car with an obd1 ecu. and when i give it gas with the sensor plugged in it just boggs down real bad. and i got my harness converted by rywire so it shouldnt be the harness.
