Does any one know how much and h22a and tranny weights? I'm expecting my complete engine to arrive this week and trying to figure out how heavy it will be, so I can move it into the garage. Thx

 

I think it's something like 125lbs for the block, 95lbs for the tranny so anywhere from 215-225lbs.

The problem isn't so much the weight, but the fact that you don't want to damage anything.

Use a engine lift and be safe.

 

pull the tranny off and you should be able to move the longblock w/ the help of one more person

 

non-lsd tranny weighs ~80 lbs

i'd take a guess that the longblock weighs about ~150-175 lbs
