Hmm, tranny weight.
I just got back from UPS and paid $111 to ship my d series lsd tranny. The weight on their scale said 124lbs. I looked at the lady and said that can't be. I flipped it over just to see it again, because the tranny was on one side. Still the same. When I got my tranny from hmotors it said 80 on the crate for weight. Was hmotors off or is the UPS scale rigged?? I'm pissed. It was the heavy duty scale with the ball rollers on it.
EDIT, just weighed my cx tranny on my scale and got 73lbs. I doubt the crate weighed 50 pounds.

I just shipped off a Type R tranny a while ago and it weighed 99 lbs and that was heavy duty wrapped and boxed with enough peanuts and foam to fill the empire state building. I highly doubt your d-series really weighed that much unless you wrapped it in gold and diamond plated bubble wrap
Edit-- I see you live in Oregon, next time have them weigh it on a gram scale and then convert it. Oregonians are way better at weighing weed than car parts J/K (BTW I used to live in Portland )
