sir lip on ex ek
im in love with the sir lip
but my fear was that it would stand out too much with painted trim
then i saw this picture:

the grill and mirrors let it blend
what type of mirrors are those?
anyone think it would be dumb to "downgrade" to unpainted sidemolding/mirrors?

Those are ABS spoon knockoff mirrors and a knockoff grille. Honestly, it's looks wierd with the black grille. You can still pull off a black lip with painted stuff:

If you want to "downgrade" your moulding to black, you could always buy some of the "JDM" thin side moulding for 2/3dr vehicles.

I agree with Eran. The grill looks stupid not painted, and you can still pull off the black lip with painted moldings, although it doesn't exactly have to be viewed as a downgrade. What matters is what flows better.

I dont think that it would be a dowgrade to leave some parts on your car unpainted. As long as you can make your car flow with the unpainted parts your car could look pretty good.
Mine is a EX.

how do you know it's a knockoff grill?
i think the delete grill looks good, but better painted
PLEASE DONT HATE ME:
what should i look for when buying a knockoff grill
i forgot about the sideskirt factor
mine are black and that would probably help the lip out
for the time being ill leave me moldings alone until i think about it more
