the wire should already be ran to the cluster https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1986294 thats the diagram for the 88 89 and 90 91 just repin your clips to match the cluster you have and you should have a functioning tack. if not run a wire from the blue one on the dizzy to the correct pin hole on the clip

on the clip that has 12 spots put it in the 11th spot next to the green orange wire (10th spot)

hey i have a 90 civic dx with a b16a and i want to put in my cluster out of my 88 crx that i wrecked. The thing is the crx cluster is a 5 speed cluster and the civic cluster is an automatic cluster so it has the extra plug on there. I believe that the crx cluster is out of a 90-91 because i just tried it in my civic and it all plugs in except for the extra automatic tranny plug for the gear indicater. My question to you guys is will this diagram still work even though the civic used to be a automatic (it is a five speed now) and what should i do about that extra plug for the gear indicator(right now it just lights up the park position on the cluster when i drive the car).

Just to let you guys know the car throws no codes and is running an obd0 pr3.
