Hey i just got a 92 4th white Prelude for free from a friend of mine. The paint is in shitty shape and i'm currently doing the $50 paint job on it, but i can't figure out how to remove the seal around the sunroof. Any help would be appreciated. Pix will be posted once i finish.

 

the rubber molding around the sunroof?
if so..the sunroof has to be removed
then you can unscrew the plate that scandwiches the rubber molding

 

How do i remove the sunroof? Thanks for the info, no wonder why i wouldnt get it off haha.

 

why dont u just block it off and paint around it? are u using rollers or a HVLP?

 

theres a better description of how to remove it using the search feature..

but heres what i remember
pop the roof up a little
remove the rubber/felt molding from the inside
slide roof back/forth till the grooves on the roof line up with the screws on the sunroof interior panel
unscrew those 2 screws
pry the roof down...theres about 3-5 plastic clips holding it up
then slide it forward coz the butt end of the panel fits inside a slot in the roof
then just unbolt the bolts you see holding the roof

 

I want to make surte the paint is covering everything, plus i want to sand off the rust that's accumlated.

I'm going to attempt to remove the sunroof tmrw, i've tried searching but can't find the links, i'll work off of the insturctions given above.
