Ok here it goes. I did a b16 swap in my crx hf. WHen i got it in it did not run..Cranked but didnt turn over. Then replaced the rotor and and bridged the spark plug to see if it got spark. the spark jumped to the metal. and then plugged it in and then ran...the found out the fans were not working and found out is was the fan relay switch. then i restarted my ecu...pulled the ecu and hazard fuse. i think i did it with the ignition on or the battery connected...not good. then i started it a lil while later and it cranked but did not start..........i checked for spark..none..i listen for the fuel pump...nothing..and i checked the fuel line going into the regulator and cranked it and no fuel comes out...what could be the problem,.....please help....its driving me crazy

 

i talked to hasport.. they said that it might be our main relay..

 

are u talking about the fuel relay...or what. what and where is the main relay...

 

the relay under your dash next to you fuse box up against the inside of the drivers wall.. . it is the relay to your fuel pump..

 

did they say anything else when u called or is that the extent of what the problems they said it could e.........

 

why wouldnt i be getting spark though too. it was all working the other day, and not now,.....

does your ecu give you any codes?? cause mines doesnt. so im thinking i have a wiring problem??!!!

 

my b16 ecu was throwing one code..22 vtec oil pressure. i changed the wires around and fixed it...but now the ecu is fried...i put in my teg ecu...and i get fuel now but no spark.,..also put in the distributor from my working teg...still no spark...wtf...can anyone help..

 

im not getting any codes either.. does your check engine light come on and stay on.. ??

 

yea it comes on and stays on.

 

i fixed the prob. it was just a bad gound on the thermostat. i relocated it and also regrounded the stater..damn all this worrieng for nothing..
