ok i was dow nthere at my car and gettin a code 5 for map sensor.. ok.. well i think this is what u call the "charcoal" canister its hooked up to.. but the input to the canister was plugged off?!...

so should i just do this..

just run me a vacuum ose from the point its got a open line to the plugged one.. i mean to me.. IT MAKES sense..
someone please help me im right in the middle of ALMOST getting this car to run right..
cause i figure with that being plugged off..its not getting a TRUE signal to my MAP sensor.

/\/\ canister

/\/\ Map Sensor

/\/\ no sensor by the fuel lines

/\/\ running and obd0 TB and Mani

/\/\ Map wire colors

/\/\ TPS colors
Check to see if those are reversed and if they are not then check if the map is getting sufficient vacuum, find some one that has another MAP and hook it up to the vacuum line

Running the map vac to the charcoal isnt going to help. It needs a vacum. T it off of the intake manifold somewhere. Although when i used to have a firewall map i just left it open like yours is and never had a problem. But T it and see what happens.
