Default Did I get the wrong pad's??...

I order'd pad's for a 91 SI CRX and assumed they would be the same as the 91 DX. The pad's I received(from summit) look NOTHING like what came off my car.

Here's a pic...

WTF??

Please tell me if I get to yell at summit or not.

I just put pads on my 90 dx and they looked almost the same as those. The only difference that I can see is theends of the pads (where the clips slide/rest on) were a bit longer on mine. You should check out the part numbers on summit and see if they are the same. If they're different then you have the wrong pads.

NOT compatible, DX pads are different from Si pads. Return them and get the DX pads.

No, DX pads are the same as Si pads. HF pads on the other hand are different.

you ordered a part for a different car and you ASSUMED, the only person that you can yell at is yourself. You may be able to return them tho....

The pads look the same to me. The clips on the other hand look totally different. Did you try putting them on with the new or old clips. Try the old ones.

His car actually i dont think has anything stock on it anymore then the body....

Im pretty sure he knows what he is doing ordering his parts when he does have a Turbo ZC that he put together himself.

Im pretty sure they will work only thing i know for sure is that the HF ones dont work....

Good Luck.

Yep. Figure's that I would ASSUME that they are the same as this is the FIRST time I have EVER bought something with out checking it will work.

Well I geuss I learned from this one.

I can return them. It say's on summit's form that you have 90 day's to return any unused product and get all the money back. I did open the package obviously though. Would that matter?

Thank's guy's

BTW, pad's were 40 sumptin.

what I wonder is why you just didn't order your pads for a 91 CRX if it's what your car is, it's the first time I hear about someone ordering a brand new piece from a different car than his, lol.

Well the Summit page only specified the pad's for a 90-91 CRX SI...and several other models for that pad.

They didn't have pad's labeled for a 91DX on the site.

I had recently looked in other catologes(JC whitney) and they label the pad's being the SAME for ANY civic/crx/early prelude, up to 96.

Oh well. I already bought the correct pad's from another place. I just have to ship the wrong ones back, and get my refund.

This is my first time doing the brakes on a CRX BTW.
