'94 Accord, putting new junk yd engine in, wiring question?
Daughtor's '94 Honda Accord.
I put a new junk yard engine in (has 75k miles) and took numerous pics when doing the switch. I'm at the last cable to hook up and I don't have a pic covering where it went. I also labeled all the cables and for some reason didn't lable this one. Its a single cable with the flex tubing around it, with a spade lug on the end. My guess is its a ground. When I ohm it out it shows 40 ohms between end of cable and engine block or neg battery cable.

and another view.

As you can see from the pics it even appears to curl to hook up on the chassis. I placed a bolt in the bolt hole it may go to for clarity in the pic. The only thing I can think of that would require a cable that large would be the alternator, on the other side of the engine bay. Or the starter. And it won't reach to either one. Besides the starter is hooked up as is the alternator.
The cable comes out of the bundle of cable carriers that are attached to the passenger side of the wheel well, also visible in the pics.
Can anyone help me here? Either with a pic of where it goes or a verbal answer?
Thanks guys and girls....

It runs into the underhood fuse box. There are two holes on the side of the box, you already have one loom running into it. If you're facing the car, your lone wire goes into the hole on the right hand side.
This could be a hot wire, not a ground since you have resistance.
It looks to go in that off white (yellowish) clip near the shock tower right next to the other wire going into the fuse box.

Thanks guys, you always come through. I had convinced myself it was some kind of ground wire and didn't even think to look in the fuse box.
When I get home tonight I will take a lookie and see. I probably left a nut or bolt in place but not tightened so it will be obvious where it goes.
Now all I need is the dust boots for the lower arm on the hub. They're on back order. Supposed to come in the mail. Repack that and it'll be good to go.
Thanks again, Wade in NW Florida

Thanks guys. That was what it went to. I looked closer and I had actually labeled the fuse cover where the cable went it. So I didn't overlook it taking it apart. I missed it putting it back together; damn bifocals.
Tried cranking, no joy. I have D4 flashing on the instrument panel. So I'll have to decode that. It was late last night when I stopped, I'll go at it again after work.
Thanks again wade
