hissing noise, and rpm's messing up
hey everyone... this is for a b16a
i put on a skunk2 pro manifold, skunk2 68mm TB, skunk2 composite fuel rail, hondata gasket and a b&m fuel regulator.....
When it is idling, it will jump from 2000 rpms, stay a second, and go down to around 1000 rpms and go back to 2000 etc. etc., it does this until i turn the car off. It also makes a hissing noise...sounds cool, but want to know if thats ok and supposed to do that.
the tb is 68mm and the mani is 64...maybe thats why there is a hissing noise.
the main concern is the idling, please help everyone!!

so, the bolt on top of the TB has nothing to do with the rpm's fluctuating up and down? more air is going into the motor now, ALOT more air
ok i will check that, but still, theres no way it could be the TB..the air thing that i keep saying, yall both say its a vacuum leak, im not arguing, its just a pain in the ***
here are some pictures that i just took... please help guys

right here, my friend said if i used a t-bar it would work fine, tell me if i shouldnt, TELL ME WHAT TO DO. and we used 2 of them.

same one...

could that be the problem...the hissing and the idling?
there, please, help me.

well speak no more...you have found the culprit. Like i said you probably had a leak, now that you found it get a piece of rubber line and cover it. you can use a zip tie to make sure its nice and tight
fixed. DELETE, for future reference, i have a skunk2 throttle body, and theres like a pin or hole or some **** under the tb, i blocked it with a screw and teflon, works wonderful. INTAKE PULLS HARD

LOL
To the OP, that is were the MAP SENSOR GOES. if you have a OBD0 car and the MAP SENSOR is on the FIREWALL, then just get a OBD1 map sensor, screw it into the BOTTOM OF THE THROTTLE BODY and leave it unplugged
