I thought I saw a picture of it on here. It takes a while to load and I don't know if it will help you at all, but I know I saw where it went on this.

It's not up close pics on that ferio thread but you can see the black part where it is. I think it's powered so it's just not sticking up in the pictures.

Are you looking where the pole is installed so you can put it in relatively the same position on the useful (opposite driver) side of your bumper, or are you intending to put it on the JDM side?

I'd hope it was the first reason. Other than suggesting you put it in a useful position, I took some time to search for you, and couldn't find you any pics of the actual cutout on the back of the bumper, sorry.

The only thing I could suggest now is to take a look at some installed pics, eyeball it, and install it on your passenger's side accordingly.

That's what I would do. Check out the pics on that ferio thread and put it on your passenger side about the same spot. It will be less useful if you put it on the JDM side, which is your drivers side.

If it's at all like the 6th gen one, mounting it will tell you exactly where to cut.

There should be mount points on the inside of the bumper. Once it's mounted (or just held up to the place where it should be mounted), trace where you'll need to cut.

That's where it will come out of the bumper.

Yes, I believe that's correct. Even on "USDM" bumpers, the mounting tabs and cut-out location should be present.
