schools starting in about 2 weeks. she's almost ready. :D
anyways I have an annoying idle bounce that im already troubleshooting but while I was inspecting vac lines for vac leaks i noticed 2 things -
theres 2 vac lines plugged up on the back of the im + 1 that is capped. I have a loose vac line thats similar to the 2 hooked up already.. so i figured it belongs there? (already did it just looking for confirmation) heres a pic:

The other thing is that the hose connected to my FITV isnt connected to anything else. i referred to my manual but cant find where it connects to. it just has a pic of a hose (no label) connecting to it lol

back to a 98% stock 98 lude

that caped off part next to the two line on the intake manifold should be caped. as far as the other line i will have to look at my car in the morning i dont remember where it goes off the top of my head but i think it goes to a hard line that runs between the valve cover and the air intake.

hmm interesting.. my idle bounce went away tho. ( i left it running for ~ 10 min w/o idle bounce.. it usually started a min after i started her)
that collant line should be going to the side of your block, just look at the FVIV bypass threads and do the steps in reverse should show you where it goes.
for the vac lines the first one should be capped the second on goes to the resonator butterflys

yeah the oem i have accounted for, i just plugged it w/ a nail cuz i have an injen CAI. im realy just wondering what the FITV hooks up to now. cuz i dont see any obvious line and i dont have any coolant leak. so i figured it has to be a vac line.

yes thats a coolant line.
you can bypass it if you live in a place where it doesn't get too cool for a bit of extra torque after the car warms up.
Coolant goes into warms up the air going through the TB then exit's out the bottom to your IACV.
it helps the car warm up in very cool weather conditions.

another noob question then here i guess lol-
which coolant line exactly goes to the FITV? and where does this line start? i only have like 6" of hose attached to the FITV. nothing on the other end. but i dont have coolant everywhere...
