Default Convert to OBD1? or Swap oil pumps!?!?

Whats up everyone....i need your opinion on this one...got a 01 Integ LS...OBD2 and so forth..swapped in a 98 jdm b20 in it...everything plugs in..EXCEPT the oil pump sensor...since the b20 doesnt have one on its oil pump....

Question is....

Should I go through the trouble of swapping oil pumps from my LS motor to the b20 OR just get the obd1 Ecu and a conversion harness??

I have done a few swaps like this. I wouldnt even bother switching the oil pump. But on all of them I informed the customer and I converted the car to OBD1. Its way easy on a DC chassis, just get a OBD2B to OBD1 ECU Jumper Harness and then an OBD1 ECU for your setup. You could use a P75 ECU or have a custom one from phearable or such. I heard and I dont know if this is true but you may be able to just complete the circuit with the oil pump switch. I believe its just a 2 wire switch (IIRC) and I think its just an on or off. You may do some more research in that. Hope that helps a bit.
Good luck

It sounds like its related to another problem. I have converted alot of cars from OBD2B, OBD2A, OBD0 to OBD1 and I have never had one problem. The OBD2B and OBD2A are just simple conversions the OBD0 one is a little bit more involved. But no problems with the tach or vtec or anything like that when converted.

you mmight be to fabricate a end peice to plug thee harness with. the part for the pil pump isnt that seriours. if you have any minor electronic capabilities you should be able to "re route" it to not throw a code.
