You should probably research it, because you're going to need plenty of things to turbo your LS.

For Example, beyond the Turbo/Manifold, you need an intercooler, new fuel rail, new fuel injector's, Standalone ECU if you wish to tune it, blow off valve, wastegate, new fuel pump... and the list goes on.

youre going to need much more than that

downpipe and exhaust
intercooler
intercooler piping
blow off valve
fuel injectors
fuel pump
oil lines and tapped oil pan
wastegate
dumptube
some sort of fuel management which by now standalones are the only thing accepted by HT

you COULD get away without an intercooler but id advise against that. you wont be making much power at all safely without one.

Yeah, if you want your car to make power and last for more than a day or two your going to need to set it up right. ivtec_power is giving you some great advice and I suggest you start researching on here what is required to have a good turbo setup. You may also look into buying a complete "kit" which would come with the turbo, turbo manifold, bov, downpipe, ect. Your going to need bigger injectors as the stock 240cc injectors will not cut it even for some N/A applications much less a turbo application. Deatschwerks makes some great high flow injectors that you may consider. Your also going to need someone to tune your car. You cant just throw all this on and consider it good. If you want it to last your going to need to tune it. Also if you decide on bigger injectors your car may not even start with them.

yes theres a certain way the turbo system works and you can go read up on it at howstuffworks.com. you COULD get away with using an internal wastegate and you COULD get away without an intercooler but its definitely not recommended. save up, get all the parts together, and enjoy afterwards. you seem new to it so theres definitely no need to rush.

and psi is irrelevant. how much power youre putting down is what matters.

Is it possible to list a few good resources for the parts he needs? I plan on buying a Honda and then the parts for a small turbo setup. I need prices for all of these things first. (Although I bet most, including me, will buy from the "For Sale" section of this site.)

The easiest way to get an idea, is just look up a turbo kit and see what they come with. I know for a fact, if you look at the Rev Hard Stage 2, it comes with everyone you pretty much need listed, minus bigger injector's/an ecu.

You could also check here https://honda-tech.com/zerothread/1323059 and see what other people are running to get an idea,

If you go into the forced induction faq section, theres a how-to for turbo install by Emshhh. I think its called: Complete How to:turbo your honda//rep-ing hypnotic speed. It tells you everything you need and how to put it together. Its what I used and its an awesome thread.
