Default 1991 DA9 Brakelights won't turn off.

I have a 1991 DA9 Integra the brake lights won't turn off. I have pulled all the fuses regarding the lights and the lights wouldn't turn off. The light switch on the bezel is off so i think its the brake light switch because when i disconnect the battery off course the lights are gonna turn off.

you have at the top of the brake pedal a little peice of plastic that presses against the brakelight switch. so when you let go of the pedal to stop applying the brakes the plastic touches the switch and you lights turn off. so if you are missing the plastic peice your lights will stay on beacuse plastic peice that turns off the light isn't there. what i did is super glue a dime there in its place and that solved the problem for me as long as you can put something there to make contact you should be alright.
