Don't you already have a thrad going about your GSR and if you should tune it because you installed a short shifter?

When you add power adders to an engine... good ones (not your cold air intake) you need to let the onboard computer (ecu) know about the changes and what to do about them. Air fuel ratios, timming, etc. This is especially benenficial for those looking to attain high horsepower through their builds whether boosted or N/A. It will ensure that the engine remains safe.

If you have no idea about tuning, sell your GSR you aren't worthy of it.

wow noob.

tuning is very important in maximizing power output, gas mileage, and reliability of the motor. with simple bolt ons than its not necessary but when doing internal work or F/I its a must.

Well to my knowings in order to figure something out you need to ask first. Soo Rik you knew this all your life??? Or did you learn it from someone else??? Think about it jackass!!! Thats why people ask questions. And no its not because I installed a short shifter, I just posted up the mods I have. I never said it was anything major.

How about we all lighten up a little and try to contribute positively instead of bashing?

Tunning might not be worth the money in most cases with just bolt ons but its always going to maximize the power and performance of the engine. Even with just an intake and exhaust tunning will make a good difference.
