I know this is kind of a weird question to ask but...
I have locked my keys in my 90 CRX HF and I can not locate my spare key....I don't want to spend the money to have someone come out and open the door for me....is there any way to get into my car so I can get my keys back????
Since this is a touchy subject, for obvious reasons, I would appreciate it if you didn't post how to get into the car on this message board, Rather just email me with any suggestions you may have that could help me out...

pop under the hood then readh through the fire wall with poipe to your door locks..........

To pop hood reach up under with pliers and pull the cable......

 

find a frend with Ef.. and try to use their keys to unlock ur car.. Most of honda keys are identical.. trust me it is. goodluck

 

use screw driver, pull window back be careful not to crack, and open lock with some metal peice.

 

OMG you guys are gonna wreck this kids locks... just take a coat hanger, make it long and then peel the window trim back and stick it down there right behind the door handle. wiggle it up and down a couple times and it wil pop right open.

 

seriously use some other EF KEYS!!!! i can start all my friends efs with my key and visa versa..................just jiggle it!!!!

thats exactly how i got into my car when i locked myself out! i cant believe how easy it was... it took me about 30 seconds to figure out.

 

Use a tool called a "slim jim" to unlock it. I heard they are illegal, so youll have to go to a flea market or something to find one. Ask around, maybe someone you know will have one.
A locksmith will only charge you 30-35bucks.

 

you probably got it open by now but heres a tip that saves my life all the time. Keep a spare key in your wallet.

come on now guys, if some kid needed the help of this site to learn to unlock the door, i doubt he has the skills to start the car or steal it successfully.

If anything this is good info for everyone. I'd rather my car be broken into through the window seal method (which has happened to me), then have my locks popped and destroyed. (my poor sis's CRX) --BTW who breaks into a stock crx with nothing but a princess plate frame and a pink steering wheel cover. WTF?

LOL, i dont think gettin into hondas is a huge secret, anybody with a small amount of mechanical know how can get into our cars.

 

There is actually a button hidden really well on every honda that will open the doors. I worked on the design back when I was working for honda. It will also automatically adjust the valves, allow the map sensor to see boost, and employ traction control. It's on the right hand side near the..... Oh wait, I just read the part about not posting and only IMing you... nevermind.
