As for the differences, just about all your questions can be answered here: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread/766629
What to look for when buying one? All vins, carfax, obvious accidents, repaints, rust, compression test, maint records etc etc.
Sorry about your loss but glad to see your gonna bounce right back. Keep you head up

Yeah i know there more likely to get stolen, but GPS is going on first day(yes, i know its not a sure thing). I was pretty much making it look like a Type-R so why not get the real thing. None the less, that LS was done cleanly i would have to say.

True but if you lived your life worrying about whats going to happen, we would all be riding around on 10 speed Huffy mountain bikes. Best thing is to be more cautious.
Here is a good link for security on your next car:

This alarm this the Silver GPS package is pretty damn good. Rated one of the best if INSTALLED CORRECTLY.

Its pricey - roughly 1800ish installed out the door. I'm having wrx-killer-Sti-eater fly in and do mine as soon as he comes to the southeast. But this alarm with GPS tracking, and a few other hidden surprises will make it pretty hard for a thief. When properly installed, the whole dash is to be pretty much taken out in order for a thief to get anywhere.

Get it done by wrx-killer-sti-eater and you won't be disappointed, everything he does is legit no short cuts taken, He installed the clifford two way and gps unit in my R and it makes be able to sleep alote better at night even though its garaged. Trust me before you invest into anything get this first. When my alarm gets triggered it I get a phone call to my cell within seconds no matter where you are. And he promises that my car cannot be hotwired
Sorry for blabbing too much but its such a good investment
P.S you get discount of your insurance

honestly, GPS won't help that much. and there's not many mint condition ITR for sale in toronto area. (we all keep the R if it's in mint condition)
one thing, your car got stolen in cayuga during the event? I remembered someone got his car stolen there too in previous cscs event.
I will keep an eye too.
i think you better get something else and do a k swap. driving a type R in GTA area is kind of horrible unless your car is always in your vision

hmm.. I was on my way to work yesterday morning around 6:45am and I saw a white Integra with a JDM front end and no tints no stickers going eastbound on Eglinton Ave. East just before I got on the DVP South. Some white dude brown hair .. kinda driving pretty quick..
I wasn't driving my ITR so he wouldn't have noticed me. I kept looking at it to see if it was an ITR and noticed it had no stickers.. I wonder if that could of been it..
I was on the furthest right lane so I never got to see if any plates were on it if you have a temp plate like in the picture.

PM wrx-sti-killer
He, along with some others in this forum can really help you out. There are plenty of steps you can take into setting up layers to protect your car.
Although, I agree with Doespike and do not see the logic. Either way, I wish you the best.
As others have stated, I would pick the Clifford 50.5x over the CompuStar counterpart. (Actually, I DID pick this unit over compustar - pm me for reasoning if you must.)

Ya never know. Well if you happen to see it again, the car is fully shaved. No door moldings, antenna, or emblems. Front and Back rotors are cross drilled, EBC red stuff front pads very noticable. No side markers on the fenders.
Also the gas tank cover is SILVER.

No kidding. You can set up that alarm to send you an email, text message to your phone, page you on the pager. Plus the alarm is like a buffer, I wouldn't be that far away anyways. You can watch active GPS movement via their webpage. It will even keep the history of where the car has been since the alarm has been put on. Very nice feature if you allow you friend to barrow you car.

I'll put my itr and my gsr up if someone could steal his car without him knowing it and getting it back. Your sure azz hell not going to start it. Your sure azz hell not going to bypass it. By the time you get into the car and try your thing to steal it the owner is gong to be right there. The only thing that is going to happen is a busted key cylinder and a lil something that people know about certaint "r" in certaint models. And that not going to work and I won't say what it is.

Can you please go into detail. I think I been going at this all wrong. For some reason these gps system that I have been installing really work to well at keep cars safe. Hell 9 months ago a theif grab a customer/members car and got it on to a trailer and made it 4 miles before being caught at a gas station. Hey player..next time if there is one......Please call clifford first so they can get the police involved and there quicker......... Calling me first at 4:15 in the morning is not in the instructions and is a no no.... Lol. I told you I will allways bust your ***** about it.
dude that sucks and thats cuz i was looking at your forums days ago and you seemed real happy about painting it championship white well hopefully you find her in one peace
