Hey I got a 1995 civic si/gsr. Has a 95 gsr engine and it has a code 23. Its the knock sensor . The check engine light lights up only when the engine warms up and I hit vtec so help me what I need to do! THANX A BUNCH

 

chanse that wire from the ECU through the harness an make sure its the right one to the knock sensor. Know alot of people had that issue. An some times it takes the ecu a while to relize it. kinda weird. try that befor you spend the cash flo yo!

 

Many chassis did not have a knock sensor so you may have to wire it up from the engine harness to the ECU. See if the wire/pin is there on your ECU plug.

were is the sensor and what wire do I chace doun?

 

Look up the pin outs for your chassis and figure it out. The sensor is on the back of the block above and to the left of the oil pressure switch. The sensor only uses one wire just like the oil pressure switch.
