so the other day my car stopped running....it was stubbling intil i shut it off about 4 miles from my house.........the weird thing is when the triple a guy came he tride to put it up on the truck he couldn't b/c the car was moving backwards, while it was in park...
anyone know what this is?
its had an axle replaced in the past...

 

these tl's are know for their tranny problems. but have it looked at.

 

I know a couple of Acura techs, and they did so many, they could swap them out in about an hour. But they did run OK, just no 2nd gear because of the heat issues they had with the location of the 2nd gear clutch assy. No fluid flow to cool it.

 

so anyone know what thismight be do to?
so for sure it is the transmission?

 

if ur car is movin in park ur tranny took a **** i was in my friends car we left half of the tranny on the road in shreded pices than pulled of and putit in park and it was rolling back

About 2-2500 bucks. Maybe more, maybe less. Depends on if a dealer does it or an independent. I would do a dealer or a REALLY GOOD rebuilder.
