How far could I push my turbo?
My 1999 GS has a B18B1 boosted with 84000 miles on it
My turbo is currently pushing five pounds of boost and I just want some opinions on how far I could SAFELY push my boost pressure to. I just bought my Integra a few months ago so I dont know all of what mods have been done and what brand all the parts are. I do know that the turbo itself is a garett, the headers are BmC I think the wastegate is a TIAL but Im not posotive. It is intercooled and does have a blow off valve, But regretably I have no clue who made them. Other than that I think the engine is stock, except for my ECU which has a conversion harness on by the looks of things. There are pictures of my engine and ECU below. Any input would be great.
thanks.

You don't have a header anymore...
Is the car lime green
...
I would do 9-10lbs, BUT, I would prob do a leakdown or compression test, I don't care what anybody says, I HAVE to do one or the other...

if so, props to him for color matching the engine bay.
If maybe be ugly, but atleast everything is one color
p.s. get a dump tube

Not really ragging on his car, I don't like the color much, if he does, more power to him, it's his and I'm not telling him to change it...
yes I was planning to. I just wanted some opinions on how high I could go with out my engine blowing up. So now I just want a few more people to say around 10 lbs is good and up to 10 it will go

i don't know much about boost. But i would double check your compression. Also paint the valve cover, it would be a nice touch.
Im not shure becaue I didnt do the mods to the lights but I think they were bought off ebay. just shearch for Integra headlights and there are quite a few that look exactaly like mine
Also this is my last post I can post today due to my trial status so if I dont awnser anyones questions sorry, but I cant

Will do, get a compression tester and give us your results...

bump, i actually like the car(color) for some odd reason. But i'd say no higher than 10psi, and like Project95LS-VTEC said do a comp check, or leakdown. Better to be safe than sorry. good luck.
