Are D-series and B-series Catalyic Converter the same length?

 

No. The header on a d series and b series are not the same length.

 

whats a good OEM replacement with a 2.5 in and outlet?

 

a test pipe would work but for oem.get a oem gsr cat
i have the same problem when i swapped a b16a into my eg.i am running stock b series header and it wont fit onto d series cat flange.so i had to bring it to a muffler shop to have them rewelded the flange

 

thanks for sharing your experiences with me. see most people on here usually just say take it to a shop and they do it but i would like to know so i will understand.

Regardless, somebody's going to have to cut and weld, unless you can find a cat that is the proper length
