Are D-series and B-series Catalyic Converter the same length?

No. The header on a d series and b series are not the same length.

a test pipe would work but for oem.get a oem gsr cat
i have the same problem when i swapped a b16a into my eg.i am running stock b series header and it wont fit onto d series cat flange.so i had to bring it to a muffler shop to have them rewelded the flange

Random Technology makes pretty good hi-flow cats

Regardless, somebody's going to have to cut and weld, unless you can find a cat that is the proper length
