Default GSR block

Whats the best way to store a block with no pistons or rods in it? So it doesn't rust up? Should I spray it with protectant or what????? Any ideas. I can shrink wrap it too

wipe the cylinders down with oil using a clean lint free rag. They also make sprays for block storage. Put it in breathable plastic and put it away from humidity and moisture.

a good spray u can use for such a thing as keeping the evil rustbug away is dry molly its a spray protectant wipe it down with oil and wipe clean then spray away this is also good because u dont have to wipe it off when u finally do decide to use the block just put it together and slap it in i work for an offshore company and we work nowhere but the gulf of mexico this is a very important spray we use to keep our highly expensive tools rust free i think u will b happy as to how easy it is to use **just spray**

AMSOIL MCF is anti-rusting agent that is designed for protection of the block/cylinders. Although as B Serious said, wiping the cylinder walls with a clean rag with oil on it will also suffice. Keep the block away from humidity and moisture.
