half shaft

i have a gsr half shaft and i am putting it into a ls tranny. it goes in but has like 1/4 inch to go. but it wont go in any further. is the gsr and ls different?

they are the same. Shove.

There is a ring that kinda keeps the splines in there. You will have to get this ring into the diff. Do some shoving, and make sure you dont seperate the joint.
