Default camber kit or no?

Hey should i get a camber kit for the rear? or no.. I dont know how much of a drop i have but i have bald stock tires and the gap infront is 1 finger and the gap in the rear is about a half a finger. Should i get a camber kit or is this not that aggressive of a drop and dont bother. Im planning on gettign new tires soon since these are bald but yeah how hard is it to install the camber kit?

Anything over a 1.5" drop would require a camber kit. This has been answered before.

It's pretty easy, shouldn't take you more than a half hour - hour. Good luck my friend!

it's a simple remove the stock ones and put the new ones in. Not much tinkering. Only hard part is to make sure the wire is off when removing and when installing the wire is on but not at the top as it could get cut, put the wire on the bottom side.

think: make sure the abs wire is under the camber not on top. it is a high chance if it getting cut when your car hits a bump and it's between the suspension well and the camber kit.

no matter what the drop, a camber kit should be used. its stickied at top of the suspension forum @ civicforums.com if you want to read a little more about it

he stated that his front has 1 finger gap and rear is half a finger gap. thats almost the same as my drop. its def more than a 1.5in drop.

since we're on the topic of camber kits. are front camber kit such as skunk2 good and for the rear I'm sure skunk2 makes them also but I can't really find it. The rear I have found MeganRacing rear camber kit. Would MEganRacing camberkit be okay. has anyone heard any problems with megan racing? I've seen a few autosport shops carry/sell them.

I don't think Skunk2 makes a front camber kit for the 7th gen.'s, but they do make rear camber kits, and those are fine. Megan's not a bad company as well.

I've heard pretty much nothing but good about the Ingalls kit as well. So that's what I went with, pretty cheap prices as well, comparatively.

if i where you i would get an alignment and see if your are out of spec on the camber, if so spc has good camber kits for pretty cheap, i have front and rear and they are easy to adjust (rear easier then front) but nothing that can't be done
