Default so about my car im bout to get

(the reason i had to start a new thread is because a mod moved my thread to general discussion and debate and theres a bunch of wierdos there leaving me a bunch of dumb offtopic comments so it got locked. so please keep this one where its at)

its a vx. and it doesnt pass smog. i still havent seen it but i found out it is MANUAL . so if i like it im gonna get it probably but they will have a hard time selling it because they dont sell cars that dont pass smog so..hopefully things will work out...but if theres crap i dont like on it (like body work and stuff) then i just wont get it. but the main thing i wanted to ask was

i hate how the cx and vx models dont come with side moldings
is it hard to get sidemoldings put on and is it a lot of work? has anyone on here done it to their cx or vx before? im also gonna put on mudguards and the si front lip but i just hate the look of an empty spot for sidemoldings

thanks ...ill post pics once i get the car ( if i get it)

i wanted to know if anyone drilled the holes in there for the clips or everyone just uses double sided tape?
i kinda dont wanna go ghetto status with double sided tape and actually have side moldings

i think it definately looks better with the sidemoldings i just wanna know if its hard to get them drilled in so theyre actual sidemoldings instead of double sided taped on cuz then they could just fall off or get ripped off right?

I love the indent without the molding. I wish mine was already done. Man, it's so much work filling in those holes.

are u serious?
dang
i guess everyone has their likes/dislikes about em
i think it looks funky without them their. well i want to have everything gunmetal and black on my car
and i think if my door handles are black and side skirts
then it looks like somethings missing
so
yeah i think i might just go with the double sided tape ones its just that i hope they dont look like crap or dont fall off

Scotch people use double sided tape on their Lip kits all the time . If they'd trust it to hold their $400 carbon fiber lip, I'm sure you could trust it for your $100 sidemoldings.
