Default Big brake disk swap

Hey whats going on guys....?? well my dad is selling his 97 LS integra.... and he told me if i wanted i can have his brake kit he has a AEM big brake kit.... i wanted to kno if it was possible to swap them to my car (05 lx) and swap mine to his?

I wouldn't know for sure if it'll work perfectly, but you should be able to match it with little modification. Check the FAQ's for the DC2 caliper swap.

i realle didnt see nothing... but the only problem i would think would be is runnin the abs line and puttin the drums on his car and having that car running without abs.

correct me if im wrong but if you just dont hook up the abs on ur car seems the car wouldnt knwo the difference. and on his car he'd just have to live with an abs light all the time.

You're not going to be able to run the rear discs from his car. You'd need the EP3 or Canadian EL rear hub for that. I was referring only to the front two wheels.

And, as far as the ABS is concerned, the sensor pickup is bolted to the hub itself, so the car will still react with ABS engaged.

ok well the rears i realle aint to worried about that then i dont wanna go through all that... and spend money on that car... but just doing the front disk and caplier swap should kinda be bolt on maybe a lil modification?

not hard, you're comparing it to a whole different generation, the 7thgen has a lot of parts available that are bolt on from the dc5 chassis.
