maybe im spelling it wrong but has anyone ran these sleeves in there block

got your txt msg chris. If you run forged pistons in stock sleeves your block and pistons are both going to be ruined, I think there is a page in the FAQ with pics of it.

Never heard of melling. Try getting that guy on the phone and get the info out of him, or at least the phone # of his machine shop.

This could be a possible cause of the noise, but was the timing and everything else ok?

yea man i pulled that **** the day i called you. the block is fucked. the walls are all scratched the hell up. the block was never sleeved obviously. pistons are all fucked and are going to need new ones. that 1300 down the drain. im going to take his monkey *** to small claims court

yea this **** is sucking the life force out of me. the tranny was in great shape. i never drive my cars hard often with my luck.

obviously not. it looked sleeved to me. and why i didnt think to verify it was because i didnt think it made since to have a bored out block and put stock sleeves back in it with the aftermarket je pistons. he got me though. now the pistons are no good and im sol
