Sounds like you may have hit a smurf... check your wheel wells... hopefully he's still not under there.

On some Acura's, the coolant color is Blue-ish. You may have a coolant leak.

some Canadian cars also came with blue coolant along with alot of the Candian Acuras (1.7 el's had it too) The coolent is more of a darker blue the smurf blue tho hahah.

Id be more leaning towards checking wheel wells for dead smurfs.

That's what I thought when I first saw it. But, if you buy it direct from Acura, at least out here, it's blue.

Some stock coolant is blue and alot of aftermarket / performance coolants are blue. I know alot of mx'ers use a product called Engine Ice and it runs VERY well in the summer, but in the cooler months is can run alot cooler and cause the bike to not run right.

There is blue coolant, but I've never seen it used out here.

Washer fluid or coolant, only two possible causes really, short of hitting a smurf.

So yeah, have that checked out too.

Still laughing about the smurf joke. Never seen blue coolant, Is that better than the 50/50 green coolant. I want nothing but the best for my honda.

Our Honda Type 2 coolant is bluish. I'm sure Acura uses the same thing.

in 02 or 03 Honda/Acura switched all of their vehicles to their own branded blue 50/50 long life coolant. Lasts 100,000 miles with no degradation in the structural integrity of the hoses. All OEM honda coolant is blue now. Toyota did something similar with their cars but their fluid is red.

Yeah, i can totally see how the colour of your coolant would have you royally gutted. There's only one thing for it - you simply HAVE to flush out your green fluid and get some blue stuff.

Quick, there isn't much time!

It's crazy but i think you can. I did hear a rumour once upon a time, but i'm not 100% sure if there was any truth in it. I think it was maybe more of an old wives' tale to be honest, but i'm too scared to try it myself to find out. What happens if it can't be done and i've already emptied out all of my green stuff?

Well i'll tell ya what happens... i'm screwed!

But i want my coolant to be blue though...

Maybe you actually HAD blue coolant but someone pee'd in your radiator which turned the fluid green.
