I have a civic on which I converted the windows and lock to power using the 96-98 ex floor harness. Im now setting up to convert my climate control to 99-00 controls.

My question is should I swap my 96-98 dash harness out with a 99-00 dash harness while Im at it and is it worth it? I also have power mirrors but I have no power mirror control switch. Should I just wire those in?

 

i love my 99-00 dash but converting a 96-98 to 99-00 civic dash isn't worth it in my book.

 

No..you dont have to change the dash harness... I have 97 Civic and did this conversion... without having to change my dash harness... you just have to run one wire to the blue/yellow wire on the fuse box...

 

I know I dont have to change it, but Im trying to get my power side view mirrors working aswell.
