i just put a ls motor in my eg hatch, and i need some cheap ways to get some power out of it... ive got intake, full exhaust ( header back). so if ne1 has ideas how 2 get more power out of it let me kno ... im kinda on a tight budget

 

If you're on a tight budget, spend your money elsewhere.. Like paying off your house or car instead.

 

save up for a GSR tranny and sell your LS tranny, so its kinda like buying something and getting a rebate

 

If you're going to save for a tranny, get a B16/ITR tranny. The gearing is shorter than that of the GSR.

Cheapest way to add power = nitrous.

 

B16/GSR trans or Turbo.

Spending your money elsewhere is a complete waste and an ITR trans is going to cost twice as much as a B16/GSR.

^ That'll do jack **** on a stock LS engine.

 

GSR or B16 Tranny!!!!! If you want some cheap power, try looking into a home made turbo kit, run it at 5 or 7 psi. and have a little more fun than you are now! Or look into some cams. Crower make some descent "stage 1" cams for the LS motor, and I think you can get them for a little under, or a little over $400, I cant remember exact pricing. Other than that, there isnt really anything you can do for cheap that will make you some nice, noticible power. Good luck dude!
