Go to the EG-EK forums and look in the FAQ, there is a link to how to polish you headers, it looks like it would work very well. Sorry I would post it for you but I'm in Iraq and it took 5 mins for the reply page to load after it failed once. Maybe someone else can help me out by posting it.
i think ill try the naval jelly stuff...do i just spray it off w/ water or something after it gets the rust off or wouldnt that make it come back? i dont know ill try it i guess. damn mild steel i shouldve gotten the polished ones.
Naval Jelly will remove any rust.
Rinse off the naval jelly and it will expose the bare metal.
You will have to seal the surface with high temperature paint to prevent it from rusting again. High temp paint at auto stores comes in a limited range of colors...the results may not look perfect but it properly done, it won't rust again anytime soon.
