well besides exactly what u said, thats a big waste of his time. LSs with bolt ons run the same as SIs. but at least u get his old motor.
what yr is his teg? u will need ECU, a new block mount (he needs to keep his off his B18), new rear tranny mount (keep B18 also). tranny and wiring harness depend on the yr of the car.

Bah...he can use all of his stock mounts.

Bah...he can use all of his stock mounts. You were right about using the driverside mount bracket on the block, but that's it. He can use his ls engine harness and add the wires, but he cant use the si harness, thats only good for the plugs. So if his car is 99-00, he can use the ecu, injectors and what not. If his car is anything before that, he cant use the ecu unless he gets an adapter harness. If his car is obd1, I would suggest pulling the injectors off of the ls motor and using those.

Why would you put a b18b in an ex? Your car probably weighs the same, if not more than an integra.
Yes, my 2400lb EX weighs more or as much as a 2700lb Integra. Get your facts straight ********......

so if his car is before 99-00 he can't use the Si ecu?? but to make it work he'll have to get the obd1 to obd2 harness right?! if so, where can he buy this harness from??

and gutted down to 2300lbs would mean no AC, no interior and no heater core. integs r pigs, even just the shell. i highly doubt its 2300 unless mentioned above.

My friend's integra weighs 2300lbs. And that's a fact! Dont talk ****, you dont have much to brag about yourself.
What year is his Teg.....?
No ******* 3rd Gen Integra weighs below 2550lbs unless it's "gutted"......

. So putting a b16 into an integra is not that ridiculous. I went with my friend to weigh his 96 civic hatch and it weighed 40 more pounds than my integra. And people would say a b16 in a hatch is a good swap, so why can't it work for an integra also. I'm not going out recommending it, I'm just trying to make you realize you need to think before you go running your mouth about things you don't know.[Modified by NWP4LIFE, 12:41 AM 6/15/2002]
