vvToo bad **** like this happens.vv

I get my car back on Thursday after dropping $2135 on front-end body and paint work, drive it around some, but I'm a bit paranoid, so I park it in the garage and drive the hooptie to work the next morning. Hooptie is left at work because the GF is picking me up so we can go to an event in Branson, and she was going to take me to work the this morning. It didn't work out like that, and I wound up just taking the S to work. It's 6:40am, and I'm driving down my street. I'm shifting into fifth and look at my speed...32mph. I look up only to see a Calico cat chasing an orange Garfield sized cat out from behind a bush about 5 feet in front of me.

Guess what happened...













Unbelievable...

 

I guess that falls under Murphy's Law. I wonder if the right front lip could have acted as a catplow and saved the S from some damage.

that sucks man. i feel ur pain. i got my S back after an accident early in the year and the week i got it back my friend scratched the SAME spot I just got fixed/repainted with the edge of a computer. ironically mine's a black ap1 as well lol

I sure hope so, brother, it's been a pretty rough time recently.

 

I don't get why you didn't just still take the hooptie to work?? And why you're in 5th gear at 32 mph. I usually don't break into 5th gear until atleast 45-50. If I've gotta speed up for something it's harder to downshift from 5th then mashing it in 3rd. Just wondering.

Im a compassionate person for harmless animals but cats. I try to run them over when they are in the road

And i would feel terrible if I hit a squirrel, rabbit or turtle.
