Im building as ls vtec and ran into problems...it starts out, i bought a b18a1 that had spun rod bearings so the crank was trashed. i found a gsr crank thinking i could use my eagle h beams i bought for the ls on the gsr crank. it doesnt fit the crank...so basically what im asking is the gsr crank the same stroke as the ls crank, can i just get some gsr rods and still have the stroke as the ls?????????


searched and didnt find exactlly what i was looking for...thanks in advance and if you try to burn me...expletive you!!!

 

i dont think the gsr has the same exact stroke as the ls does. i think the ls is a mm or 2 longer. ur gonna need another ls crank. i have one thats already been cut and grinded and also has been rebalanced if ur interested i live in nj. pm me

 

anyone with ls crank in texas or close to???

 

my local machine shop got me a new crank and bearings for 160 plus my crank as core

 

gsr stroke = 87.2mm
ls stroke = 89mm

you need to match the rods to the crank
