Default Header Leak and other factors

ok, so i went to the track last night and it was my first time, i was nervous and my first run was a 16.6, the second run i was a little better but still ran a 16.4

i have a jdm b16 with an exedy stage 2 clutch, apc intake with power adder filter (i know it sucks), stock header, hi flow cat and crush bent 2.25" exhaust from meineke with a muffler from a company called wicked.

i ran seafoam the other day and it leaked from where the header meets the downpipe

so im wondering why my time was so bad, my reaction time was .5 so im thinking something mechanically is not right. Would that header leak cause me to lose that much power or what because i read other people with b16 stock are running high 14 low 15's ... granted i weigh 280 but still. If anyone has any ideas or needs some more info to determine what the problem is just let me know. TIA

I'm almost positive(without going to look i live on 3rd floor apartment) it's the S21 tranny. I think my launch could have been better because i was nervous but i mean it seems like something isn't right if my time is that bad because im not a horrible driver, although im not the best either lol.

Your 60' times are abysmal. If you improve that, your ET will improve considerably.

Yes, your launching technique will influence your 60' times. Looking at your time slips, that is your primary issue.
