Tensioner, Koyo vs Nippon

Is there any way to determine which tensioner my car requires without taking everything off? The car is 97 Ex.

They should be interchangeable.

Just called two Honda dealers. One said that this part has been updated by Honda and that they are the same part. The other said they are just different manufacturers. Whats weird is when I did a search about this, one post said that they are noticeably different. https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=2015875
