Default am having a tought time choosing which motor HELP ME OUT!!!

so i have a 1999 honda civic dx hatchback. when i bought it they put in a d15b vtec motor the obd1 version. so it has the harness whatever you call it. what will i have to do to put the 1.6 vtec model the obd2 version. my bolts messed up my crankshaft and my flywheel need help quick. thanks alot

your bolts messed your crankshaft? why the hell would bolts touch your crank? mabye improper bearing clearances could of caused an issue but bolts? and your flywheel? this has nothing to do with obd lol

you need guidance

clearly your no help . i know whats a obd1 and obd2. i just want to know. what i need to do to put a obd2 d16 vtec motor in there since it has a d15b vtec obd1. bearing has nothing to do with it. i was just letting you guys know basiclly my motor is messed up.

well im going to assume they kept the obd2 harness and just used the conversion harness for the ecu. take out the ECU CONVERSION harness, put obd2 b series ecu in and that takes care of the obd/harness issue

so i can't use the axles i have now aren't d series axles and b series axles different since its to different type of motors

anyone else the vtec wiring on the d15b has to wires. and i think the d16 vtec has three wires correct me if am wrong here
