not certain on this, but i think you have to buy the ecu for the b16, then just wired the 2 sensors up manually.

if im wrong

you can run your stock ecu but it wont rev to 8200rpms and it wont let vtec kick in the best thing to do it just convert it to obd1 with the conversion harness and u will have wires to hook up to the vtec soloniod and whatnot. but u can still run it with ur stock harness and ecu

damn take it easy homie!!!

You can use your stock ecu but it's not recommended due to the reasons posted above. If you do a google search, you will find plenty of sites with !

You are correct, the poster should have searched. 99% of any questions I ever have I find the answers to through searching. I will have to say though that any time you insult someone you should make sure that you are not doing or saying something that makes you look inbred yourself. I am not trying to be pedantic or anything, especially on an internet forum, but certain grammar mistakes make a person look completely retarded, so as I read your post in agreement and amusement the direction of my chuckle changes when I then see in your sig, "Sale me some SOHC power!https://honda-tech.com/zeropost?cmd=fshow&id=68".

You do not HAVE TO but if you spent the money for the engine and you are going through the trouble to do the swap then just do it right and get the right ECU and the harness. Being that it is your daily driver should not have anything to do with whether you do something right or not.. in some ways I would say that is even more the reason to do it right the first time. But yes as it was so eloquently stated before, do a search and be sure to search archived content as well and you will find almost all the answers you would ever need to any question. https://honda-tech.com/zerosearch
As far as what was said earlier, it just gets old having to sift through certain posters content, who more than half their posts tend to be aggressive attempts to 'pwn n00bz'.
Thats all I am going to say about any of that, other than actually I think the most "inbred" question asked that was not searched for first is any question in regard to Sea Foam.

Before I did my LSVTEC build I knew nothing. I searched the forums for a year before I even started buying parts. Then I started asking questions that I couldnt find. I would recomend everyone research for a year about engines before attempting to do your first. It will take a lot of time and embarasment out of posting on here.

Ok you got me, shot me in the head cause you found me out.....I'm Not PERFECT! damn my cover is blown, now nothing I have ever said will be valid at all because I slipped on the word "Sell" instead on "sale". I bow down to you sir for being much more on point than I ever could be....................way to not be "pedantic"

You can rest easy though because now it's fixed, hopefully my secret won't get to far from this thread.
