Default IAC and Intake Air temp sensor question?

If you would have these two mixed up and plugged into the Opposite places is it possible to burn a part on the board of the ECU??

I don't think so, you could just cause damage to the connectors or possibly short circuit the wireing. I doubt you could fry something on the ECU.

why do you ask?
you can easily fry the sensor itself using the wrong plug from the harness.

But would that actually cause something on the ecu to fry? I don't think so.

Yea, but thats more likely than actually frying something on the ECU. It really would take alot to do that, if even possible. x2 bumoa.

well the reason i ask is bec a local shop was going to tune my hatch and they said i had those two in the opposite spots and it fried one of the spots on his ecu that he was using to tune my car. Thats why i was wondering if its possible. They said it could have been wiring somewhere else though possibly.
