Default HELP ME FIND THE RIGHT PAINT FOR MY POOR HATCH

I know i'm a nood but i do know a little something about bodywork and i wouldn't use a spray can on my car to save my life. so i was thinking about going with duponts brand chroma premier primer, base, clean but i never used if. don't know how it lays out or anything. i've sprayed limco 4k primer and its not bad at all and the price is GREAT!
limco is the only BASF product i've used and i don't know how diamont's primer, base, clear will be either. so my question is if you were me dupont or diamont or if you find something thats better and afforable let me know about that. thanks guys! i need info fast. body work is done and it needs primer fast.

I've been using BASF for quite a while and really like it. All big name paint systems are comparable, it really comes down to the users skill level pertaining to the outcome of the work. The Diamont line is easy to use, I've used mostly PPG and BASF, still prefer the BASF over the PPG. If Foose prefers it, it must be damn good, considering other companies give him free stuff to try. The DC 5300 clear in nice for complete jobs imo.

All high end automotive paints are pretty much comparable, I have used ppg, dupont, sikkens, and Sherwin Williams. All are very good paint lines. If you want to use Dupont go for it, its great stuff.

I don't know. On some of the TV shows I'm sure they just used whatever system was in the shop location at the time. I know a regional paint rep that chats with him at conventions. Chip says he likes the BASF products the best. I've read elsewhere thats what Chip uses also.

The PPG omni clear doesn't seem to lay out all that great. I've gotten medium orange peel with it, unless the part is horizontal then it lays out great.
