how you guys like your SI's? im thinking of selling my gsr and getting somethnig alot newer lol. tell me pros and cons, just anything you can think of, of why i should get one. im comparing it to a scion tc. help me out fellas. thanks.

 

stock Si 197hp, tc 160 something.

mpg wise I'm not sure how much better tc get than Si if not the same.

Both offers pretty much the same accessories from the dealership such as lip kit, navigation, interior light, audio and such.

Si cost more than tc bone stock without any accessories.

tc has had 2 recalls since it was first introduced in 2004 I think.


Personally, I think tc is like a bulky version of the Si, and I think it's a hatchback.

Si is better, but that's just imo.

 

there's about a 3 grand difference in price
so the si "should" be better than the tC

the tC is a great car but i think the si outranks it in every way besides tq(but remember it does have a huge price difference)

 

the TC is on the top 10 unsafest cars list also. i think it was 8th

 

my friend has a tc and it just seems cheap feeling. for a 3 grand price difference i would say go with the si any day. if you plan on doing mods to the car, again def go with the Si, you are already about 40hp ahead, thats an easy 3 grand right there...

 

does the tc have dohc?? Get the Si. I would compare the tc to a Civic ex.

 

yea my friend has a tc and its alright, but i've never been in an si. i definitly want more horsepower cause im kind of downgrading alot power wise if i get a tc. my gsr might even be able to take an si but money is always an issue =P

well...the tC did come with the TRD supercharger

but id say go for the Si for the long run
