(ACG-S) fuse whats it for?
I was changing a/c mirror fuse and saw my (ACG-S) was empty i know the ones with parentheses around them are model/option specific. just wondering what the fuse is? my S has one in that spot and SI doesnt.
Can you tell me what number it is? I have a pdf wiring diagram, but it dosen't list what the printing is on them. Maybe also say what its neighbor's are on either side too.
I know this thread is pretty old but still wanted to shine some light on this topic due to the fact that i just had a problem related to this particular fuse and found out why. So basically Your ACG-S fuse which i believe stands for Alternating Current Generator, is the constant power supply for your immobilizer control unit. The fuse is meant to protect your ICM PGM-FI, and ECU in the case of a short circuit from the ignition switch under your steering column. If this fuse blows you will most likely experience issues similar to a faulty PGM-FI Main Relay or ECU. However, the reason for this similarity is because of the way the immobilizer works. When you insert your key into the ignition lock cylinder and try to crank the car, the transponder in the key sends a coded signal to the immobilizer. If the immobilizer receiver determines the coded signal is correct, it then sends a fuel enable signal to the ECU and energizes the starter cut relay allowing your car to start. With the fuse blown or missing, it can cause a no spark, no start, but the engine will try to crank(like in my case). After trying to diagnose this issue and not comming up with an answer, i assumed a bad computer due to a non comm with my obd2 port and a code 0 CEL which usually means either the ecu is dead or is not communicating. I removed the ecu and inspected it for signs of physical damage but could see none. So faced with the possible $1200 ecu replacement i went back and checked EVERY fuse under the dash and after a double take noticed the ACG-S fuse had blown. I replaced the fuse and to my amazement the immobilzer light on the dash came on and my fuel pump engaged ( which was kind of bittersweet becuase i had disconnected the fuel line in order to check the main harness for damaged wires). I put everything back together and my CEL turned of and car started right up. Havent found a lot of discussion on this particular situation so just wanted to put it out there. Hope this helps anybody experiencing similar problems.
I know this thread is ancient, but thanks to y'all I found the ACG-S fuse blown on my 99 odyssey EX, also the starter signal fuse was blown, I changed them both, but it still wouldn't start, then I probed with a light tester the solder joints in the main relay (the one underneath the steering wheel above the brake pedal) and the relay suddenly clicked and now it is working like a beauty, I know the main issue were the fuses, but God only knows if by me somehow shorting something to ground, it reset the ecu or something and the immobilizer worked. Honda is goated frfr

Update: I did in fact short two pins on the main relay, so if anyone replaces their main relay, checks all fuses and everything looks good but your odyssey won't start, short two pins on the main relay.
