I think your question is too general. Everyone has their own feel and runs different settings in different situations.

The performance for the B6 and S6 is the same. S6 is a bit better in setup cuz it is full aluminum made and equipped with SWIFT springs as std springs. Both suspension are good for street and track.

What are the optional spring rates/damper for the S6?

i believe the standard rates you can choose from is 10/6 or 12/8 for DC2 if that's what you mean.....I think you can get custom spring rates but at a cost....

I believe both systems should be about the same except for weight.

You can get any spring rate you want if the shocks are odered directly from Zeal. I have been running an 18kg/16kg S6 setup on the streets of Okinawa for more than a year without any problems. The S6 is valved more for circuit than the B6.

Guess I was wrong hehe.

18k/16k...damn and I thought 12k/8k were stiff.

AJ already said this, but the S6's are aluminum and the B6's are chromoly.

I'm not sure if I got the 12k/8k or the 10k/6k on my Zeals.. but man, they are stiff as ****. They made a phenomenal difference over my A'PEXi World Sport coilovers.

I had '95 spec Tein N1's with a 14/12 setup and the S6 setup that I have now rides a million times smoother. The N1's were valved for circuit only! I guess I just got accustomed to stiff rides.

Talk about stiffness! All the production line of Zeal are streetable, so I don't consider them stiff! Try out Tein RA/RE and Tein RS. you just need a new kidney transplant after riding on bumpy roads. If you are hardcore enough, go for Tein RA or above. I am speaking from my personal experience. I tried Apexi N1 99, Tein RA, RS, HA, Zeal B2 and Zeal Superfunction IN PERSON. NOT WORD OF MOUTH.

The pictures I have seen of the S6 and B6 look exactly the same. Chromoly is pretty light, comparable to aluminum, SWIFT springs could be bought or ordered with the suspension. How can you tell the difference?

yes i find that B6 and S6 looks almost identical, but close up look in person and you'll be able to tell the diff cause the B6's chromoly finish will be shinier than the S6's full aluminum finish.........and the biggest diff of all is the weight....I picked up the S6's and they were amazingly light compared to others.......I think each corner of the S6 weighs around 8 pounds.....

I was wondering if you know how much the stock suspension weighs, approximately? Thanks
