Clutch Clatter Noise, is it Normal?
My 02 Type 2 has about 115K miles on the stock clutch. I notice that there's a "clatter" when the clutch pedal is not in. It makes a sound similar to valves tapping ALOT.
When I press the clutch pedal in, it goes away. Is this normal noise?
Note: It was noticeable as I was in a small garage like area, with the window down. Otherwise, I'd have never noticed the difference in noise between clutch in/clutch out. It's not noticeable under normal driving.

The clatter I hear is with the tranny in neutral, not while in gear.
