1. Check for vacuum leaks, Throttle body gasket, vacuum lines, intake to engine gasket.

2. Do you know what the base idle was set to in Crome? If it's set at 1600rpm in Crome there isn't much you can do without reprograming it.

3. Is the new 2 wire IACV working properly?

Try this: If you take your intake piping/CAI/SRI off and look inside your throttle body you should see 2 holes on the left side. The one on the top is for the IACV and the one on the bottom is for the FITV. With your car running put your thumb/finger over the holes one at a time. Does plugging either of them drop your idle? If it does then there is something wrong with the corresponding valve.

i checked all vacumlines and gaskets

the iacv is not installed on the intake manifold ( its just for throwing no code on the ecu)

i have to fix me a plate for the new iacv

maybe thats the problem ?

in crome the idle was set to 750 but it runs more than 1700 rpm

What do you have in it's place on the manifold right now? Do you have the three wire IACV installed with out being wired up? If you do that could be your problem. The 3 wire IACV that is on there will stay in the open position without a signal from the ECU.

how did you re-wire the 3 - 2 wires?

blacktrax.net sells a 3 - 2 wire iacv adapter plate.
