Default ATTN ALL BOOSTED D17's !!!!!!

i am a week away from boosting the civic. I am on a tight budget though due to Tunerfest coming up August 25th. I really want to be boosted by then...

I need something that is Bolt-on for less than $2000.

Dezod makes the piping but its for a T3/4 turbo...

I thought about getting the TSI kit but thats pushing my budget.

What about getting the Ebay kit and running that for a couple of months then upgrading the Turbo, manifold, etc... anyone every installed the Ebay Kit??

IM ABOUT TO LOSE MY FKING MIND OVER THIS!!!!

Whatever i order has to be bolt-on because i have been quoted over $1000 for Cusom piping, oil lines, and install. <--- rediculous

IF ANYONE has any suggestions on how i can get this thing boosted for less than $2000 that i can install myself.

i **** you not... im going crazy lol

have you factored in the price of a tune? and engine management?

cheap (generic) ebay turbo is a complete waste of money. don't rush through getting parts! wait man! lol

they need to be from a base RSX.. no Type S

Here is a good DIY for what you are tryn to accomplish. Its what i am currently using to make sure i have everything i need to do the job right, the first time.

DIY K20/K24 swap <-- click meh!

Dont waste your money on cheap **** just because you plan on going bigger later. Just save your money and go for the gold.. id go k24a2/3 but thats just me

If you don't have the RSX hubs, you'll need Base model RSX or 02-03 Civic Si axles.

i thought you only had $2000 to spend. an engine.. wooo.. thats the easy part. Now comes the $$$ to buy all the other parts needed, plus labor, unless you are doing it yourself.

i got a really good payment plan w/ the seller of the swap. i have someone that will do the install for next to nothing. and I get oem and aftermarket parts wholesale.

after parts, swap, and install i'll be at less than $4500 for everything

Just to warn you, I tried to "rush" my K24 swap, and ended up a tad over my head. It took 5 weeks longer than I hoped, and I went about $2k over what I was initially going to spend, due to parts not being correct, properly shipped, or broken.

how is it your fault if the sellers didn't package the item properly during shipping? THEY should have paid for it...
