Default ex intake manifold question

i have a d16y7 engine all stock but with an ex or y8 intake manifold and throttle body. Will that intake manifold cause the CEL to come on? I have that intake manifold on it right now and my rpm fluctuates and sometimes die out. Could that be the reason why? Will this intake manifold cause other problems?? Thanks!!

are all of your hoses tight? your idle could be a small vacuum leak. check those. is your check engine light on? if so, get it checked and see why your car is throwing a code.

what year is the manifold if its the later models then it probably has holes above the injectors to help with atomization and swirl of the Fuel/Air, also the Automatic Manifolds dont have IACVes

im not quite sure what you are trying to ask, the intake tube and box are connected to the top of the intake manifold..
