WTF!!!!! 8.4 kilo (18.5 lbs) Now he will call OZ Germany in a few hours and tell them , that they are liers!!!!!!!

OZ says on ther HP that the 8x18 weight 8.3 Kilo (18.28 lbs) and we remember that in a tuner - magazine the 8x17 was rated at 6.8 kg (15 lbs)
WTF, OZ says 8x18 has 8.3 kg, how can it be, that the 8x17 is 0.1 kg heavier.

Maybe your friend got the 18" instead of the 17". Or it's a fake copy....
Or maybe the 17"x7 is 6.8 kg not the 17"x8.
I know someone with a 17"x7 Superleggera and he said it's 6.x kg and the weight is "printed" on the rim itself.....

it is 17inch rim not a 18inchIt is not a fake copy!
European rim manufactur sux!
When the 7x17 is 6.xx, then the 8x17 can not be 8.xx Kilo, or maybe European engineers are'nt that good as japaneese.

TUV wheel requirements are very strict. They get subjected to very strenuous tests.
Aside from that, you can't go off of manufacturer weights, because they are probably talking about minimal offsets and whatnot, and that makes a big difference in weight.

Did you read this: http://www.oz-boutique.com/OZ_swfs/d.../OZcatalog.pdf
7Jx15 = 5kg
8Jx18 = 8.2 kg
7Jx17 = 6.9 kg
8Jx17 should be around 7.5 kg maybe?

In "Auto Motor Sport" (a Germany magazine) they have a test with a bunch of rims. The Superleggera's in 8x17 weigh in at 8.6kg in the test.
OT: Are the rims for the ITR? I tried getting them in 7x15 for mine and was told that the 5x114,3 is not available.

does anyone have Superleggeras on their Integra? I'm in the market for some new rims and I just wanted to see how they would look on an Integera. Thanx
I have a set of Superlggeras in 17x7 (Actually for sale. See sig.
)... Mine weighed 15.4lbs on a pretty accurate postal scale. I find it hard to believe that an extra inch in width adds over 3lbs to a wheel... Mine are a set from the first shipment TireRack got from the manufactuer last spring...

Who cares what they look like. 5kg for a 7x15 rim at around $162 (€179) is great!!

You'd be suprised a what kinda POS's come out of MB....i can attest as I have to deal with all the warranty paperwork...Almost every car that is ever sold somes in with a faulty O2 and Mass AIr sensor, the ps hoses blow out on every ML...shall I go on?
check out this website for wheel weights. sounds about right, if you ask me...
